Jay-Z & Grammys: Hov Wins 3 Awards At 55th Annual Grammys

The 55th Annual Grammy Awards were held on Sunday, and Jay-Z finished the night with three awards: Best Rap Performance, Best Rap Song and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration.

Receiving six nominations, Jay-Z was up against himself in two categories. For Best Rap Performance, Jay-Z was nominated for both "N----s in Paris" with Kanye West, and "I Do" with Young Jeezy and André 3000; while for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration, he was up for "No Church in the Wild" with Kanye West, Frank Ocean, and The-Dream, and "Talk That Talk" with Rihanna. He was also up for Best Rap Song for "N----s in Paris" and Best Short Form Music Video for "No Church in the Wild."

Jay-Z was tied for the most nominations this year with Kanye West, Mumford & Sons, Frank Ocean, fun., and The Black Keys' Dan Auerbach.

At 2012's 54th Annual Grammy Awards, Jay-Z was nominated for four awards, but only won Best Rap Performance for "Otis" with Kanye West.

The 55th Annual Grammy Awards were held at Los Angeles' Staples Center on Feb 10. LL Cool J hosted the awards show.
