Former Florida governor and potential 2016 presidential candidate Jeb Bush told Fox News Radio’s "Kilmeade & Friends" Thursday that he doesn't read the New York Times.

Host Brian Kilmeade asked Bush for his response to a recent NYT article about members of the Christian right seeking an alternative contender.

“I don’t read The New York Times to be honest with you, so I guess you’re going to force me to do so,” he responded.

The Washington Post has previously asserted that "it’s dumb" for a politician to say they don't read the Times.
