Jeffrey Tambor On Getting Mistaken For Other Celebrities On 'The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson' (VIDEO)

Which Celebrities Does Jeffrey Tambor Get Mistaken For?

Jeffrey Tambor talked about how he often gets mistaken for other celebrities on "The Late Late Show" (Weeknights, 12:37 a.m. ET on CBS). He mentioned that people think he's Larry David, which seems a bit of a stretch, and then suggested that some might think he resembles Chevy Chase. But he was missing the most obvious one of all. On he clearly knew, but maybe wasn't all that excited about.

After he asked if he looked like Chevy Chase, Craig Ferguson quickly dismissed the idea, but then called for a close up as he moved his finger under Tambor's nose.

"Don't do it! Don't do it!" Tambor said, because he knew exactly who he looked like. So he said it himself. "Dr. Phil!"

Of all the celebrities mentioned, Dr. Phil is easily the one he resembles most, and probably the one he gets mistaken for the most. Tambor is one of those venerated actors that everybody seems to know, and yet not enough people know at the same time.

Jeffrey Tambor was most recently seen in the catch-it-if-you-can three week run of "Bent" on NBC. Catch "The Late Late Show" every weeknight at 12:37 a.m. ET on CBS.
