Rumors 'Girls' Star Jemima Kirke Was Kicked Out Of Jay Z's 'Picasso Baby' Shoot Are BS, Says Director

'Girls' Star NOT Booted from Jay Z Shoot

The rumor mill was churning Wednesday with reports that "Girls" actress Jemima Kirke was kicked out of Jay Z's shoot for "Picasso Baby" because she was "acting totally nuts." Director Mark Romanek says all the talk is plain ol' "bullshit."

The New York Daily News reported Kirke went wild during the six-hour "Picasso Baby" shoot at the Pace Gallery in Manhattan last month. A supposed source told the paper she was going "nuts" and kept "jumping on his back like a little monkey."

“Someone was screaming ‘Get her off of him!’” the source added, before Kirke allegedly was taken away by the "Magna Carta Holy Grail" rapper's security, kicking and begging, “Let us finish!”

Various outlets reported on Kirke purportedly getting the boot. But it turns out it didn't go down that way, at least according to Romanek, who directed the 11-minute visuals.

The director has had to dispel gossip before. Last week, he dashed claims made by The New Yorker and Gawker that Jay Z was lip-synching during the performance art filming.

"They're both dead wrong," Romanek told The Huffington Post. "At no point during the day did he lip sync. He did live vocals for six hours. The finished piece was always intended to be live vocals. I mean, that was the whole point of it. Otherwise, it would turn into a music video."
