LOOK: Jenni Rivera's Final Album Is Out

Jenni Rivera comes alive again with the release of her last album and DVD.

Known as the “Diva De La Banda,” Jenni’s charismatic presence, her interpretive force and her voice are felt through the launch of her posthumous album. It was recorded in the Monterrey Arena, the last day she set foot on a stage.

The album is titled “1969-Always Live From Monterrey Part 1.” It went on sale Dec. 3rd and was recorded December 8th, 2012, the day before the songstress passed away.

Songs in the “norteño-banda” style like "Que me entierren con la banda", "Rosita Alvirez", "Vida prestada", "Se les peló Baltazar", "Clave privada", "El moreño" and "Dos botellas de mezcal" form a potpourri that fans of this genre will enjoy.

The song “Dos Botellas de Mezcal” is included twice in the album and is the first single from the record.

On the acoustic side you have "Qué ganas de no verte nunca más", "Porque me gusta a morir", "Señora" and "A que no le cuentas," among others. These add the romantic side to the album that has been launched as a CD + DVD.

The audience will enjoy Jenni’s presence with never before seen images on the DVD. It is divided into different sections that include: “Fan Love,” “More Fan Love,” “The Last Rehearsal,” and perhaps the most important: “Mariposa De Barrio” (Neighborhood Butterfly). This last section gives the audience a tour through the town where Jenni grew up before she became a star.

“La Diva de la Banda” narrates these stories from her life, something that's sure to excite fans.

“1969-Always Live From Monterrey Part 1” was made by Juan Rivera and it is a preamble to the event in her honor that will take place in Monterrey.
