We're kind of obsessed with Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux as a couple, partially because Justin seems so... normal (no John Mayer antics or Brad Pitt drama here). But we also love the peculiar fact that Jen and Justin love to match -- like, wearing coordinating outfits. And they do it without looking completely lame!
On Thursday evening, Jen and her fiancee walked the red carpet at the 26th American Cinematheque Award Gala in Beverly Hills. For the event, where Jen and a slew of other actors honored Ben Stiller, the pair wore black and white: Jennifer in a black strapless Valentino gown with an off-white bodice and Justin in a traditional tuxedo with a bow tie (gotta love a man in a bow tie). Jen also had two cool accessories of her own: her Valentino Va Va Voom studded leather clutch and that giant engagement ring.
We've long noticed Jen and Justin's tendency towards matching: Jen's formerly laidback style has toughened up a bit since dating Justin, as these coordinating leather jacket/jeans/black fedora/black boots ensembles suggest. The pair both love dark, solid colors (gray and black, anyone?) and casual, no-fuss pieces in their everyday lives; and when it comes to the red carpet, well, we know how much Jen loves her a good LBD that have her matching Justin in his black suits.
Matching outfits can be nerdy (see: Kate and William). But Jen and Justin pull it off like nobody's business -- seriously, look how cute they are together.
