Jennifer Lawrence Says Amy Schumer's Self-Deprecating Jokes Don't Make Sense

OK, can JLaw just be our BFF, too?

Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Schumer have somehow sparked a magical friendship of which we can all be jealous. And, like all great besties, they have each other's backs.

During a "Late Show" interview in September, Amy Schumer called Jennifer Lawrence the hottest ideal version of herself, which made pretty much everyone laugh -- everyone except for JLaw.

"Yeah, she keeps writing this in our script, and her sister and I, we're both like, you're not ugly enough, and I'm not hot enough to pull these jokes off." Lawrence told Stephen Colbert Monday. "And she was like, 'I know. I'm gorgeous, but I do it in stand-up and it works.'"

Lawrence continued, "I don't think it makes sense. She's got a sweet little ass. Great tits."

Lawrence and Schumer are set to star together in an upcoming comedy where the pair play sisters. There's no doubt some of Schumer's "you're hot, I'm not" jokes are making their way into the film, but comments like this give us serious #FriendshipGoals envy.

The odds are in their favor.
