Jennifer Lawrence, Best Actress Winner At 2013 Golden Globe Awards

The 70th annual Golden Globe Awards have taken place and Jennifer Lawrence is taking home the award for Best Actress.

The nominees for the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy were Jennifer Lawrence for her performance in "Silver Linings Playbook," Meryl Streep for "Hope Springs," Judi Dench for "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel," Emily Blunt for "Salmon Fishing in the Yemen," and Maggie Smith for "Quartet."

Every actress up for the award was nominated for a Golden Globe before, with Streep holding a record 27 Golden Globe nominations.

Lawrence's "Silver Linings Playbook," also starring Bradley Cooper, was nominated for a total of four Golden Globes. In addition to Lawrence's nod for Best Actress, the film was nominated for Best Motion Picture - Comedy or Musical, Best Actor - Comedy or Musical, and Best Screenplay.

The 70th annual Golden Globe Awards were hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. The awards show took place on Jan. 13, 2013 at Beverly Hills' Beverly Hilton Hotel.
