Could one of Hollywood's coolest couples be giving love a second chance?
Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence, 22, was spotted on a dinner date Monday night with ex-boyfriend Nicholas Hoult, 23, he of "About a Boy" and more recently "Warm Bodies." The two broke up their two year relationship last January.
A source told E! News that Lawrence and Hoult were quite close at the West Hollywood, Calif., restaurant, "sitting next to each other for a couple of hours and cuddling at a table near the back of the restaurant."
We're really hoping the rumors are true because ... Well, just look at them. But we're also wary, because they're both cast to play in the "X-Men" sequel "X-Men: Days of Future Past" and there is always the possibility that this was a business dinner type thing.
The pair began dating in 2010 after meeting on the set of "X-Men: First Class." In November of last year, Lawrence told Elle magazine that Hoult was her best friend. "[My boyfriend] is honestly my best friend, and hopefully I'm his best friend too. He's my favorite person to be around and he makes me laugh harder than anybody," she said.
After her Oscar win, Hoult admitted he was "thrilled" for his ex and said they were still friends.
Since her breakup from Hoult, Lawrence was very briefly tied to her "Silver Linings Playbook" co-star Bradley Cooper and to actor Michael Fassbender. Both rumors were quickly shot down.
Reps for both Lawrence and Hoult did not return HuffPost's request for comment.
