Men everywhere, rejoice! Jennifer Lawrence is a single lady. In Touch magazine reports that the gorgeous "Hunger Games" actress, 22, has split from longtime boyfriend Nicholas Hoult, 23. The pair began dating in 2010, after meeting on the set of "X Men."
While details about the breakup are brief, a source did tell the publication: "They're young and grew apart. But they remain friends."
In November, Lawrence told Elle magazine that Hoult, who rose to fame thanks to a memorable part in 2002's "About a Boy," was her best friend. "[My boyfriend] is honestly my best friend, and hopefully I'm his best friend too. He's my favorite person to be around and he makes me laugh harder than anybody," she said. "We can eat Cheetos and watch beach volleyball and we turn into perverted Homer Simpsons, like, 'Oh, she's got a nice ass.' I never thought we'd have such different opinions on asses."
On Thursday, it was announced that Lawrence had been nominated for a "Best Actress" Oscar, for "Silver Linings Playbook" (which itself received a whopping eight nominations, including "Best Picture"). “When you’re hoping for something and you’re praying and we’re all getting so excited and then it’s even better than you imagined. It’s unbelievable," Lawrence said about the Oscar nod -- her second, following a nomination in the same category for 2010's "Winter's Bone."
