Jennifer Lawrence Overcomes Her Fear Of Singing With David Letterman

This Is What J.Law Sounds Like When She Sings

Jennifer Lawrence is obviously a very talented woman, but the one thing she says she can't do is sing. Somehow, David Letterman got her to do it anyways when she stopped by "The Late Show" on Wednesday night, and our ears have never been the same.

The 24-year-old explained to Letterman that she recently had to sing a song called "The Hanging Tree" for her role in the upcoming "Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1" movie.

"I do not like singing in front of other people. It's like, my biggest fear. I cried on set that day," she said.

Well, in case you don't want to wait for the film to hear her self-described "tone deaf, Amy Winehouse voice," you're in luck. Watch the clip above and make sure your volume is on low.
