The Oscar-night suspense is over; we finally know who took top honors at the 2013 Academy Awards. But now it's time to consider who really won the night. While Jennifer Lawrence was No. 1 in our book, we'd also like to give some honorable mentions.
Jennifer Lawrence
The 22-year-old managed to stun in a pale pink Dior Haute Couture number, charm with her quirky sense of humor throughout the evening and take Best Actress for her role as a young widow in “Silver Linings Playbook.” She even made falling look cool.
Quvenzhané Wallis
The "Beasts of the Southern Wild" star was all kinds of adorable, basking in the honor of being the youngest-ever Best Actress nominee. We predict that puppy purses will be the must-have red-carpet staple of 2013.
Michelle Obama
The first lady's appearance to present the award for Best Picture was one of the evening's biggest surprises. (We're still loving the new bangs, FLOTUS.)
Ben Affleck
Affleck overcame his directorial snub when "Argo" won Best Picture, and offered a touching tribute to wife Jennifer Garner in his acceptance speech.
Shirley Bassey
Bassey, 76, stole the show with her larger-than-life performance of "Goldfinger," a rousing tribute to 50 years of James Bond.
