Jennifer Lopez On 'Britain's Got Talent': Singer's Skimpy Outfit Sparks Outrage Among Viewers

Another Controversial Outfit For J-Lo

Jennifer Lopez is no stranger to having provocative outfits cause controversy, and the one she wore Tuesday night while performing on "Britain's Got Talent" can join those ranks.

The 43-year-old singer took to the stage to perform her new single "Live It Up" while wearing a black leotard that was quite friendly to her bottom half. Twitter lit up almost immediately, calling Lopez's outfit too inappropriate for a family-oriented prime-time program. (Watch the performance here.)

The black thigh-high boots and gorilla-like sleeves that accompanied the leotard were reminiscent of the bright-red outfit Lopez wore during her recent performance at the Billboard Music Awards.

Ofcom, the government-affiliated Office of Communications that regulates broadcasting in the United Kingdom, received a slew of complaints from viewers. A spokesperson for the office said, “Ofcom can confirm that it has received complaints about the 'Britain’s Got Talent' broadcast last night, which we are assessing but not currently investigating.”

Regardless of viewers' reactions, "Britain's Got Talent" creator and judge Simon Cowell praised Lopez's performance on Twitter:
