Just when we think we've seen it all from Jennifer Lopez, she manages to surprises us, yet again, in a dress for the decades.
Though J. Lo has been in a sartorial slump for the past few weeks, it appears to be over. On Thursday night the singing sensation stepped out in a high-necked, blue sequined Tom Ford gown for the fourth annual amfAR Inspiration Gala New York, an event benefiting The Foundation for AIDS Research.
The dress, which was so tight it looked as if it was painted on her body, was from Ford's Spring 2011 collection and featured beautiful netting amid the sapphire sparkle. Since her ensemble was so dramatic, she kept the rest of her look quite demure, donning a simple black clutch, a slicked-back ponytail and minimal makeup.
We have a feeling this gown is one for the books (not unlike her 2000 Versace Grammy's dress).
