Jennifer Lopez: Hotel Maid Lying, Singer Denies Getting Her Fired After Autograph Request (VIDEO)

J.Lo Denies Getting Hotel Maid Fired

Jenny from the Block wouldn't get anyone fired.

Jennifer Lopez defended herself against rumors that she got a maid fired after the German hotel employee requested an autograph.

While staying at the luxury hotel Melia Duesseldorf while on her "Love" tour in Germany, J.Lo was reportedly approached by hotel maid Pray Dodaj, who asked Ms. Lopez for an autograph, the German tabloid Bild reported. Dodaj, a huge fan of the Bronx-born singer, was turned away at Lopez's door.

One day later, Dodaj spoke with her hiring company and was fired. "They said that Ms. Lopez complained. I was fired right on the phone! Because an autograph!" Dodaj said, according to a translation of Bild.

The superstar singer, who played a hotel employee in the movie "Maid in Manhattan," took to Twitter to defend herself. J.Lo insisted that she would not get anyone fired over an autograph.

Lopez's rep backed the "Dance Again" singer. “Jennifer always goes out of her way to meet and greet fans as evidenced by her recent tweet 2 meet engagements backstage, as well as stopping to sign autographs and say hello to hotel staff," a rep told TMZ.

TMZ reported that hotel management at the Melia Duesseldorf assured Lopez no one was fired, but hotel director Cyrus Heydarian told E! News Dodaj acted inappropriately.

"She has acted contrary to the contractual arrangements and disturbed the privacy of our guests," Heydarian told E! News regarding the Lopez-loving hotel maid.

Despite the alleged firing, Bild reported that Dodaj already has two job offers lined up, including one at a hotel in Mönchengladbach.

Lopez continues her world tour, touching down in Finland, Turkey, China and Australia, and finishing in Puerto Rico in December.
