Jennifer Lopez And Lin-Manuel Miranda Record New Song To Benefit Orlando Shooting Victims

So this is what they were working on!

Last week, Jennifer Lopez shared a selfie featuring none other than "Hamilton" creator Lin-Manuel Miranda. Naturally, we were left scratching our heads, wondering what they were up to.

As it turns out, the duo had teamed up to record a new song called "Love Make the World Go Round" to benefit the victims of the mass shooting at Orlando's Pulse nightclub. All proceeds from the song will be donated to the Hispanic Federation's Proyecto Somos Orlando.

Miranda teased the track Monday morning on Twitter, telling followers, "I have a treat for you."

He then posted the video shown below, offering fans a behind-the-scenes look at the track, which features his signature rapping alongside Lopez's vocal skills. J.Lo shared the same clip minutes after Miranda.

The full track doesn't have a release date just yet, but we're already betting it might top all the charts.

Miranda was one of the many celebrities to show support for those affected by the horrific events at Pulse. Immediately following the news, he shared a tweet featuring a rainbow heart over the word "Orlando," and later, at the Tony Awards, he read a beautiful sonnet dedicated to all the victims.
