Jennifer Lopez has had more careers in the last decade than most can hope for in a lifetime.
Although she is most famous for her music, Lopez has never been afraid to dip her toes into the acting pond with starring turns in "The Boy Next Door" and "The Wedding Planner."
In the intense first look at her new cop series "Shades of Blue," Lopez holds nothing back as Detective Harlee Santos, a NYPD cop caught on the wrong side of the law.
Lopez, who executive produces the star vehicle, shared the trailer first on her Facebook account.
"So proud of 'Shades of Blue,'" she wrote. Can't wait for you all to see it. Check out the trailer now. 'Who we think we are and who we turn out to be ... are they ever the same?'"
The trailer features JLo staging crime scenes, having hot boxing-ring makeout sessions, conducting a secret investigation and playing the kind of antihero TV fans have come to love.
We think she might have a hit on her hands.
Lopez sported a very different look at the iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina on Saturday and commanded the stage in multiple sparkly body suits, a far cry from her dressed-down "Shades of Blue" wardrobe.
Whether she's a dirty cop or a dancing diva, she'll always be "Jenny from the Block" to us.
