Jennifer Love Hewitt is reportedly considering freezing her eggs in order to have a baby at some point down the line.
The 34-year-old actress, who is dating "Client List" co-star Brian Hallisay, is allegedly mulling over whether to undergo the procedure, Us Weekly reported. Hewitt has been "asking a few women she knows about freezing her eggs," a source told the magazine.
According to Us Weekly, she is reportedly worried she could wind up single. "If it doesn't work out with Brian, she can still be a mom one day," the source added. Although she is currently involved with Hallisay, she has had failed relationships with Carson Daly, Jamie Kennedy, John Mayer and "White Collar" actor Ross McCall, to whom she was engaged.
Hewitt's idea to freeze her eggs isn't novel. Other 30-something celebrities like Maria Menounos and "Girl Next Door" star Bridget Marquardt both did it. Kim Kardashian considered it, before she got pregnant with Kanye West's baby.
Back in 2010, while she was with Kennedy, Hewitt had babies on the brain. "I would love to have babies," she told The Huffington Post during a conference call. "I'm obsessed with babies. My brother's getting ready to have his first baby, and I'm so excited because I can secretly pretend to have babies."
She's also ready to walk down the aisle. In 2011, Hewitt had already picked out three engagement rings for a would-be fiance to give her.
"I feel like I'm doing the guy a favor," the actress, who was dating actor Alex Beh at the time, told Ellen DeGeneres. "I don't want to be upset if he picks a bad ring, so I feel like having three picked out and saying, 'Look! Look at this plethora of things you can choose from!'"
