The Jeremy Lane Post-Interception Injury Is Even Grosser Than You Thought

Holy crap.

In the first quarter of Super Bowl XLIX, Seattle Seahawks cornerback Jeremy Lane intercepted what would have been an endzone pass by Tom Brady for a New England Patriots touchdown. Lane ran the ball back to the Seahawks' 14-yard-line where he was tackled by Julian Edelman.

While falling, Lane landed on his left arm in what looks like a really really gruesome injury.

Suffice it to say, Lane will not be returning for the rest of the game.

CORRECTION: This post originally said Rob Gronkowski tackled Jeremy Lane. It was Julian Edelman who tackled him.
