James Hibberd is reporting that Oxygen has ordered a new reality show based in New Jersey. It will follow a family that owns a formal-wear store.
This announcement, which will likely come Sunday, follows other cable networks cashing in on Jersey's cache. Bravo started it off with the "Real Housewives of New Jersey," which showed us the glamorous (and sometimes terrifying) world of wealthy women in the Garden State. Then came MTV's "Jersey Shore" that has attracted as many critics as it has viewers. Even the Style network is getting in on the trend with their upcoming "Jerseylicious," which follows six hair-stylists as they dish and coif.
