Thanks to reality TV gems "Newlyweds" and "The Ashlee Simpson Show," the world has been privy to the the inner workings of the Simpson family for more than a decade. It's nice to see the sisters have remained close, since the days of chicken ... or is it fish?
Jessica and Ashlee Simpson rang in the new year with the ones they love -- their beautiful children and famous beaus. Ashlee, 31, shared a snap of the family celebration, featuring hubby Evan Ross, Jessica, Jessica's former-NFL-star husband Eric Johnson and two of the couples' children, Maxwell and Bronx.
"Such a fun New Years. Happy 2016! Great family vibes!!" the "Pieces of Me" singer captioned the adorable photo. Ross, the son of the legendary singer, Diana Ross, also posted the same photo, revealing that the group "danced the night away."
Jessica, 35, frequently shares photos of her two children, Maxwell and Ace Johnson. Most recently, she uploaded a stunning black-and-white closeup of Maxwell to send her Christmas wishes to "all the moms and dads who love their children more than anything ever created."
Ashlee, on the other hand, has had her hands full with new baby girl Jagger Snow, whom she welcomed with Ross in July 2015.
(Sidenote: Has everyone just accepted that Ashlee freaking Simpson is Diana Ross' daughter-in-law, because we still can't get over it?)
We don't think anything could encapsulate the Simpson sisters' relationship (and the early 2000s) more than this Ice Breakers Liquid Ice commercial they did together in 2004. Relish in the forced sibling banter and Ashlee's dye job below.
