Jevons Brown Sent Cat Poop To Companies That Didn't Hire Him

Nobody likes being turned down for a job, but Jevons Brown thought it was especially crappy.

The 58-year-old St. Louis man decided to let his prospective employer know how he felt by sending them packages of cat poop via the U.S. mail, the Associated Press reported.

Investigators were able to sniff up 20 cat poop packages and connect them to Brown, a veteran.

“This is not a victimless crime,” Assistant U.S. Attorney John Bodenhausen said in court Friday.

Bodenhausen later clarified that the victims affected included postal workers, people whose mail was adjacent to Brown's packages, and the employees who received the cat poop, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Brown received two years of probation on Friday after pleading guilty in August to a misdemeanor charge of mailing injurious articles, UPI.com reports.

Officials went easy on Brown because he had no prior arrest record Dumb As A Blog reports.
