Jill Zarin, Former Star Of 'Real Housewives Of New York,' Says 'Words Are Like Weapons' (VIDEO)

The Harsh Lesson Jill Zarin Learned On 'Real Housewives'

Outspoken socialite Jill Zarin starred on "The Real Housewives of New York City" for four seasons. Best known for her famous feud with former best friend Bethenny Frankel, Zarin was fired from the show in 2011, just weeks before season five was set to begin filming.

On Friday's episode of "Oprah: Where Are They Now?" Zarin looks back at her time in the limelight and shares what she regrets.

"I don't have one lesson that I learned from being on reality TV, but I know one thing: Words are like weapons and to use them thoughtfully," Zarin says in the above video. "I said things I shouldn't have that I have regrets about. Of course it wouldn't have been as good a show, let's be honest, but there's no question that there were things that I said that I'm sorry I said."

In the video below, Zarin joins OWN executive producers Julie Simpson and Jill Van Lokeren on HuffPost Live and reveals the status of her relationship with "frenemy" Ramona Singer and who she'd like to see cast in a "Real Housewives All-Stars" series.

Zarin's appearance on "Oprah: Where Are They Now?" airs Friday, February 7 at 9 p.m. ET on OWN.
