Local News Anchors Report Fake Good News To Distract Us From The Election

Jimmy Fallon just wants a break from election news.

So “The Tonight Show” host recruited local NBC news anchors from across the country to read out fake reports that have the sole intention of making us smile.

Sometimes it feels like there’s nothing but bad news out there, especially with the election going on,” said Fallon, before introducing the “I’ve got good news and good news” segment on Friday.

Prepare yourself for tales of babies suddenly stopping crying on flights and nobody noticing you styling it out when you trip over.

Oh, and then there’s the wish-it-really-were-true story that sports teams will now hear and act on the suggestions you yell at the television screen.
