Jimmy Francisco Vega, High School PE Teacher, Arrested For Having Oral Sex With Student, 15

Wednesday Miami-Dade Police arrested a South Dade Senior High School physical education teacher accused of luring a student into his vehicle, giving her marijuana, and receiving oral sex from her.

On February 22, Jimmy Francisco Vega, 32, drove the 15-year-old victim off school grounds in his gray SUV to a nearby lake, according to the arrest affidavit.

The victim told police Vega gave her a marijuana cigarette, which she smoked.

Police say that subsequently the two began to kiss and Vega licked the victim's breasts and fondled her buttocks. She then performed oral sex on Vega.

Vega admitted to kissing the victim and exposing his penis to her while inside the vehicle, according to the arrest report. He was charged with lewd lascivious battery and taken to Dade County Jail, from which he has already bonded out.

His parents told NBC Miami "that their son would never do such a thing and that the student is lying."

South Dade students have taken to Twitter to discuss their support for the coach and teacher with the hashtag, #freevega. Others expressed their disapproval.
