JJ Watt Joins The Growing Chorus Of Cam Newton Defenders

"Football is a game, it's supposed to be fun."

On Tuesday night, JJ Watt became the latest NFL player to back Cam Newton and his touchdown celebrations.

On Twitter, the Houston Texans defensive lineman said that the Carolina Panthers quarterback should be free to celebrate his accolades any way he wants.

Watt joins a growing chorus of Newton defenders, following a year of criticism. Earlier in the week, both Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman and Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning said the 26-year-old should be free to celebrate his accomplishments any way he likes.

As Watt mentioned, he is no stranger to celebrating his on-field achievements with some dancing -- his most notable celebration happening after a sack against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 17. He did the "whip," "nae nae," "dab" and "ran off on the plug twice" dances all in one.

Watt was definitely having fun, but he might need some help with his execution. Maybe Newton can give him some tips.

Hey Cam, what do you think about JJ Watt also defending your touchdown dances?
