Highest-Paid NFL Defensive Player Ever Doesn't Know How To 'Act Like A Rich Person'

Houston Texans star J.J. Watt is now the highest-paid defensive player in NFL history. After playing like the highest-paid defensive player in NFL history in Houston's season opener on Sunday, Watt was asked about what he was going to do with all that money.

"I googled 'what do rich people buy.' I don't feel like a rich person," Watt said after Houston's 17-6 win. "I don't really try to act like a rich person. I don't know what they buy and I didn't like the stuff I saw so I think I'm going to stick to my humble lifestyle and just keep working out."

In Week 1, it certainly seemed like Watt's "humble lifestyle" was the best approach for him, after signing a six-year contract extension worth $100 million, in regards to his performance on the field. The 2012 Defensive Player of the Year was a dominant force against Washington.
