J.K. Rowling's 'The Casual Vacancy' Is Nothing Like 'Harry Potter' In First Trailer

J.K. Rowling's New Show Is Nothing Like 'Harry Potter'

Hedwig, we're not in Hogwarts anymore.

The trailer for "The Casual Vacancy," J.K. Rowling's upcoming HBO miniseries, has finally hit the Internet, and if you didn't know already, this is no "Harry Potter." Remember when there was all that controversy over Mrs. Weasley saying the word "bitch"? Well, this blows that away in the first 10 seconds.

"The Casual Vacancy," based on Rowling's 2012 novel of the same name, involves a murder, a small town going crazy and even a possible ghost. (Hmm, maybe it's not that far from "HP" after all?) Plus, Albus Dumbledore, aka actor Michael Gambon, is back, so 10 points to Rowling!

Parts one and two of "The Casual Vacancy" will air Wednesday, April 29, on HBO. Part three will air Thursday, April 30.
