Joe Arpaio Death Threat: Arrest Warrant Issued For Caesar David Nunez Over Tweet

Arpaio Receives Another Death Threat

Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Maricopa County, Arizona, reportedly received a death threat from a man who said he wanted to "personally blow" his "head off.”

An arrest warrant was issued for 22-year-old Caesar David Nunez on Monday, MCSO spokesman Deputy Joaquin Enriquez told ABC15.

"I want to personally blow Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s head off," Nunez said in a Tweet in April, according to Enriquez. Nunez reportedly admitted he wrote the threat because he disagrees with Arpaio's stance on undocumented immigration.

Another Arpaio death threat led to the arrest of Ignacio Carbajal in February. Carbajal reportedly posted on Facebook that Arpaio's "stance on illegal immigration drove him to want to kill the sheriff."

Arpaio hasn't only dealt with death threats -- he also received a package in April that authorities said would have exploded if opened, and could have led to serious injuries or death.
