Asked to comment on allegations that the Patriots supplied deflated footballs during their AFC Championship Game rout of the Colts, Joe Biden recently told "CBS This Morning": “I tell you what, having been a receiver, I like a softer ball, that’s all I can tell you.”

Biden was a "standout receiver" for Archmere Academy in Claymont, Delaware, according to Biography.com. His football experience at the University of Delaware, on the other hand, has been questioned. The school's sports information department previously told The Huffington Post that Biden did play on the freshman team.
