Joe Biden On Obama-Netanyahu Criticism: 'This Is A Bunch Of Stuff'

Joe Biden defended the relationship between President Barack Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, which has been somewhat testy, and criticized Republicans and the Romney-Ryan ticket.

Vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan, speaking from the perspective of the ayatollahs of Iran, said, "They see President Obama in New York City the same day Bibi Netanyahu is, and instead of meeting with him, goes on a daily talk show," he said, referring to Obama's visit for a speech in front of the U.N. General Assembly.

Biden replied that Netanyahu has been his friend for 39 years and that Obama has met with him for a dozen years.

"He has spoken to Bibi Netanyahu as much as he has spoken to anybody," said Biden, adding that before they went to the U.N., they spoke on a conference call for well over an hour "in stark relief" about the Iranian nuclear crisis.

"This is a bunch of stuff," said Biden.

Obama and Netanyahu spoke on Sept. 29, after Obama spoke to the U.N. General Assembly on Sept. 25.
