U.S. Rep. Joe Garcia (D-Fla.) lost his re-election bid to Republican Carlos Curbelo on Tuesday.

Garcia was first elected to Congress in 2012, when he defeated scandal-plagued Rep. David Rivera (R). Rivera launched a bid for the 26th district again this year, but lost in the GOP primary to Curbelo.
