Rumors that Joe Jonas and his model girlfriend recently made a very kinky sex tape are untrue -- if you believe the singer's reps.
On Thursday, Blind Gossip reported that a video featuring explicit footage of the 23-year-singer and Blanda Eggenschwiler, 28, "drinking, doing drugs, and engaging in sex using a number of sex toys and BDSM devices, including dildos, a gag ball, and a slapper paddle," is scheduled to hit the Web next month.
If the tape does it exist, it sounds like the most hardcore celebrity sex tape around. However, Jonas' reps told E! News, "There is no truth or validity to this story. It is completely false."
While a part of us wants to believe that all those years of wearing a purity ring have led Jonas to some very kinky proclivities, unless the tape surfaces for all to see, its existence does seem doubtful -- despite Blind Gossip's very detailed account of the alleged tape.
The website claims that the video was shot in a room at Park Tower, a hotel in Buenos Aires, and it was shot by a videographer, who also had the couple pose for an explicit photo set. Blind Gossip claims that it has received "multiple tips" in the last year from people claiming to be close to Jonas, who all report that he's depressed about the state of his career, and his drug and alcohol use has "spiraled out of control."
The site also claims that the alleged sex tape was Eggenschwiler's idea, with sources claiming she's been working with a distributor to facilitate the release of the video, and will receive a cut of the profits. Sources told the site that the Swiss model has told friends she's only using the former Disney star as a stepping stone for her career, and that she hopes a sex tape will launch her career, just "like Kim Kardashian."
The alleged tape was supposed to be released on April 3, but Blind Gossip says it would hit the web any day now.
