Joe Scarborough, speaking at Kennedy School of Government, with NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg, was asked about his cynicism.

He replied:

"I'm not actually pessimistic at all, about where the country's going to go. I'm not pessimistic in the least. But I am pessimistic when it comes to the future of the two political parties. I think they're going to blow apart. I think they are going to be irrelevant in the next ten years.

These are structures that were created a couple of hundred years ago to help organize people in a large diverse country. Organization is happening on-line now, every day, every night.

He wraps up after the video below ends, saying, "I think good things are going to happen but it's not going to be easy."
