Joe Walsh Tweets About Jimmy Kimmel's 'Sad Story,' Gets Ripped Apart

Twitter couldn't help but remind the former congressman about his "deadbeat dad" status.

Former Rep. Joe Walsh (R-Ill.) is one of the few people who wasn’t touched by Jimmy Kimmel’s monologue about the importance of affordable healthcare to all Americans.

After Kimmel spoke about his newborn baby needing open heart surgery at birth, Walsh felt the need to voice his opinion on Twitter.

Other Twitter users fired back, in mostly hilarious fashion. Many tweets reminding the former Congressman that he was once one of America’s most notorious deadbeat dads, owing $117,000 in child support payments at one point.

He settled that issue in 2012, but Twitter has a long memory.
