John Gibson Loses Fox News Show, Colbert Makes Fun

John Gibson, host of Fox News "The Big Story" (and perhaps best known of late for mocking actor Heath Ledger shortly after his death) has been stripped of his TV show, "The Big Story." Gibson will remain a fixture on Fox News radio, but America's Election HQ, hosted by Bill Hemmer and Megyn Kelly, will remain indefinitely in his old time slot, the network confirmed this week.

Last night, Stephen Colbert mocked Gibson, saying, "There's obviously only one big lead story tonight: an influential figure who many of us considered a moral leader has let America down and has been forced to leave his post. Of course I speak of Fox News' John Gibson." Colbert continued mocking Gibson in the clip below, which also includes Colbert's discussion of Eliot Spitzer, who was a guest on "The Colbert Report" the day before his Washington liaison with Emperors Club call girl "Kristen" aka Ashley Alexandra Dupre.
