John Legend released a new single on Monday. Called "Made to Love," the track takes a mid-tempo beat and has Legend crooning about his inevitable love. The single features production by Da Internz, Kanye West, Dave Tozer and Nana Kwabena.
"I was sent here for you / We were made to love / You were sent for me too,” Legend sings in "Made to Love." Take a listen to the song above.
"Made to Love" is expected to be featured on Legend's upcoming album, "Love In the Future." The album from G.O.O.D. music will hit stores on June 25.
"Over the years, I've been in a comfort zone with Kanye and Dave, and we’ve had great collaborations,” Legend told Billboard about his music. "But this album also offers some fresh collaborations. And together that typifies the sound of this album. 'Love in the Future' has the feel of my first two albums but takes that sound forward."
The 34-year-old singer released his last studio album, "Wake Up!," in 2010. The album performed modestly for Legend, hitting No. 8 on the Billboard 200 but falling short of the expectations set by his previous ventures. His 2006 album, "Once Again," hit No. 3 and was certified platinum, while his 2004 album, "Get Lifted," and his 2008 album, "Evolver," both hit No. 4.
