John Lennon And Yoko Ono Don Subtly Sexy Valentines Day Outfits (PHOTO)

Or should this just be left to the pros?

There are few couples as famous -- or as alluring -- as John Lennon and Yoko Ono. Lennon, perhaps the most famous member of "The Beatles" wed Ono, a Japanese artist, in 1969. Together, the pair was known for their crusade for peace (especially during the Vietnam war) and their quirky sense of style (think round glasses and monochromatic ensembles).

In this 1968 photo, Yoko Ono and John Lennon are photographed at their home in England. The couple is decked out in matching black outfits -- turtlenecks and wide brimmed hats -- and both sport the same intense gaze. We are obsessed with this look, especially their textured, voluminous hair -- wouldn't it be perfect for Valentine's Day? Although many people think the holiday is the time of year for tight dresses and high heels, why not change it up and don something a little more demure -- subtly sexy can be even more romantic.
