John Nakata Makes YouTube Plea For A Kidney Donation To Save His Life

Pennsylvania man John Nakata has been told he only has two years left to live -- if he does not receive a kidney donation.

Desperate to find a donor, WGAL news reports Nakata and his family have turned to YouTube to bring their plea to the ears of Americans. So far, his YouTube post has almost 3,000 views.

Nakata's blood type is O-negative, held by only about 7 percent of the population. Blood type is only one factor however, and tissue size and general health must also be tested before a match can be determined.

Potential donors can contact the Nakata family by calling 570-436-5114 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting 570-436-5114 end_of_the_skype_highlighting or sending an e-mail to Donate2John@gmail.com.
