John Oliver Playing Supreme Court Audio Over Footage Of Dogs Is The Justice America Needs

John Oliver Replaces Supreme Court Justices With Dogs, And It's Amazing

This may just be the best thing since cats learned to play piano.

The Supreme Court doesn't allow cameras during oral arguments, and Justice Antonin Scalia says that's because short segments that don't properly portray the arguments would be presented to the public.

Well, John Oliver finally has a solution. Since the Court already releases audio of the arguments, Oliver suggests playing it over footage of dogs dressed up to represent each justice. The video is pretty amazing, turning mundane activities such as glasses being adjusted and note taking into must-see TV. You know ... because dogs.

Now, all we need is for a poker game to break out. That would truly be justice.

"Last Week Tonight" airs Sunday at 11:00 p.m. ET on HBO.
