Jon Stewart spent a large chunk of Monday night's "Daily Show" lamenting the "the depressing cyclical status quo" of the tensions in the Middle East, and suggesting solutions ranging from God rethinking his priorities to Ryan Gosling giving up his holy land.
As is often the case, Stewart reserved his sharpest criticism for the media's coverage of the Israel, Hamas conflict, which seemed hell-bent on declaring winners, despite — as Stewart explained — there being none. "You really miss the election, don't ya?" he sniped.
Watch part one above where Stewart breaks the conflict and coverage down, and part two below where asks God to meet him at camera three.
