On Tuesday night, both "The Daily Show" and "Colbert Report" provided live election coverage from New York City, and when the results from the Missouri senatorial race came in, sparks flew.
Claire McCaskill beat opponent Todd Akin by a clear margin in the state, and considering Akin's August remarks that left him seeming tone-deaf to women's rights, Stewart couldn't help but crack a joke.
"Well it looks tonight like, in Missouri, Claire McCaskill has legitimately raped Todd Akin," Stewart quipped. "Electorally speaking, obviously."
