Jon Stewart Finds Virginia Is For Lovers... Of Money

'That's F*cked Up'

Former Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell and his wife, Maureen, are on trial for corruption, but it's not just the usual accusations of money-for-influence that caught Jon Stewart's attention.

It's that they were allegedly using their influence to peddle Anatabloc, a tobacco-based supplement, as some kind of miracle product, reportedly going so far as to tell Ann Romney that the pill could cure her multiple sclerosis.

"That's fucked up. How do those two live with themselves?" Stewart asked on Thursday night's "Daily Show." "I guess it's easy thanks to Forgetulex, from the makers of Anatabloc, the herbal supplement guaranteed to wipe out the memory of a time you trivialized a woman's debilitating incurable disease so that a whacked-out supplement huckster would buy you a watch. Forgetulex, it's made of crushed-up heroin needles and bedbugs."

And that's not the only outrageous fake product Stewart invented in response to the trial.
