Jorelle Antivo Claims To Be God, Withstands Two Taser Shocks

Police: Man Claimed To Be God, Was Unaffected By Two Taser Shocks

A Colorado Springs resident believed to be on hallucinogens claimed divine status as he attacked police officers early Thursday morning.

According to the Colorado Springs Gazette, Jorelle Antivo, 21, encountered four police officers as they were investigating a burglary in an apartment complex in Colorado Springs Thursday morning.

According to KMGH in Denver, the man charged the officers, claiming to be "God."

Officers say they used a taser on Antivo twice, but the blast from the stun gun seemed to have no effect. It eventually took all four officers to subdue and handcuff the man.

According to the Denver Post, the man only calmed down after "medical intervention."

Antivo has allegedly been smoking hallucinogenic psilocybin mushrooms.
