You've never seen a performance to Prince's "Kiss" quite like this before.

The Tinley Park Convention Center in suburban Chicago was treated to an incredible show Saturday when Josiah "Badazz" Grant was crowned as the first-ever male champion of the North American Pole Dance Championship, an annual competition held during the three-day Great Midwest Pole Dancing Convention.

Grant, who is based in Los Angeles and works as a pole dancing instructor, told Patch his winning performance marked the culmination of nearly a decade of hard work.

"I heard my name and I was just, like, 'Wow, dreams really do come true,'" Grant, 30, told Patch of his win.

The Purple One would be proud. Look at this guy's skills!
