Meet Julia Roberts. You may know her from small films like "Pretty Woman" and "Stepmom," or, you know, for being America's sweetheart.

But that's all in the past now. You see, from this day forward, Roberts, who has a slew of awards and many top notch films under her belt, will forever be known as the goddess who went fully barefoot on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet.

Roberts attended the premiere for her new film "Money Monster," wearing an Armani Prive gown, Chopard jewelry and, for at least a little while, nothing else.

Climbing the steps alongside director Jodie Foster (who was probably like, "Ugh, why didn't I think of that? My feet hurt!"), Roberts put that whole Cannes high heel policy rumor to rest once and for all.
She eventually did put her shoes back on, but not before sharing this look with co-star George Clooney, which we're going to pretend is his reaction to seeing her hit the stage barefoot:

First there was Kristen Stewart in sneakers, now this. With 10 more days of Cannes to go, we're guessing there are going to be a lot more high heel-less moments in the near future.
