Julianne Moore Named Harvard's Hasty Pudding Woman Of The Year

Julianne Moore Nabs Harvard Honor

Julianne Moore's questionable Boston accent on 30 Rock didn't stand in the way of her being named Hasty Pudding's Woman of the Year.

Hasty Pudding spokesperson Learah T. Lockhart told the Harvard Crimson that Moore was selected for her "diverse accomplishments and wide range of acting experience."

Moore recently garnered a Golden Globe nomination for her performance in "The Kids Are All Right." She has also appeared in "Boogie Nights," "The Hours" and "Magnolia."

The woman of the year award has been presented annually by the Harvard group since 1951. The Hasty Pudding Man of the Year award, which has been given out since 1967, will be announced next week.
