Chances are your 10th birthday party wasn't held at a designer boutique and didn't include customized Converse sneakers, gourmet pastries and a handful of celebrity kids as guests. But then again you're not Summer Chamblin, the adorable daughter of celebrity stylist June Ambrose.
Between dressing her star-studded clientele, Ambrose teamed up with event designer John Goodman to bring her daughter's "High Tea Soirée" to life.
Summer, a budding fashionista who is often spotted front row with her mom during New York Fashion Week, was joined by approximately 45 of her friends for the fun-filled day -- including Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz's kids, as well as NBA baller Amare Stoudemire and his wife Alexis' little ones. The shindig started off at the luxury children's clothing store Bonpoint in Soho, New York, where the partygoers got to customized their own pair of Converse sneakers and enjoyed face paining by INGLOT Cosmetics, all while jamming out to tunes by DJ Tyger Lily.
The festivities then moved next door to the high-end pastry shop Laduree where specialty sweets and a three-tiered Marie Antoinette-themed cake awaited the kids. Oooo la la!
And what's a kiddie party without a goodie bag? But yet again, these weren't your run-of-the-mill favors -- each of Summer's chums took home canvas "designer" totes by My Other Bag that were filled with everything from Miu Miu Doll T-shirts, Carol's Daughter products, EOS lip balms, Rocawear threads, a custom candle titled “The Summer Socialite" by Walton Home New York, and the list goes on!
