Alignment over everything.

Being in tune, aligned and in flow with ourselves must be the most important aspect of our lives.

Truly, it is our responsibility to care for our self-alignment because when we do, everything else simply takes care of itself. What I mean by that is, when we are balanced with the flow of letting things happen the way they are meant to life simply feels good. We can pause and reflect even when it is challenging and say to ourselves: this is happening to serve my highest good. When you can see each interaction as valuable you are in a perspective that really does serve you.

Nike says Just Do It. I say, Just Shift.

If something feels a little off simply shift your focus on it. If it is a conversation where someone is asking about something that lowers your vibration – don’t go there.

If you find yourself at a table where friends are gossiping simply shift the conversation. If you find yourself being frustrated in traffic, in line or with your list of things to get done simply shift your thoughts about it.

Always say this is here to serve my highest good.

Don’t get so caught up in the material world and things that need to be done. Your spiritual self-care requires your utmost attention.

If you’re a busy parent like me, simply honor the moments you have with your children as priceless (because they are!). Be a role model for shifting your feelings especially in front of your little ones. Raising our children to have the tools to shift their mindset from being frustrated to being grateful will engrain that positive shift into their way of living. (It’s the gift that keeps on giving!)

There is always something that feels better to shift to in any circumstance. I share this because I have learned this. I have experienced a tremendous amount of turmoil with a very challenging co-parenting relationship where the other parent has lost sight of our beautiful child and is only focused on his bitterness and victim mentality. I have learned to shift. Just shift and filter each interaction and always keep the focus on my beautiful child. I no longer allow myself to be taken down or distracted by his attempts to focus on me and hurt me and now see that as a reflection of his inner state.

There is a power in shifting and when you find it the most difficult just go silent. Then quickly move to better feeling thoughts and don’t allow any person to bring down your high vibration.

I am thankful for my difficult co-parenting experience as it has given me the inspiration to write, to serve others and to use my gift of presence in this world to uplift other parents who find their selves in the path I once walked on.

By using our experiences to serve others we are amplifying the gifts given to us. We have at this point mastered this gift to shift.

The power of this is always with you.

Next time you find yourself feeling any sort of way other than great – just shift.
