Earlier this month, paparazzi managed to snap photos of Justin Bieber in the buff while vacationing in Bora Bora with rumored girlfriend Jayde Pierce. The nude photos practically broke the Internet and elicited passionate responses from all corners of the Web.
Arguably the strangest of reactions came from an unlikely source -- Bieber's father. Jeremy Bieber went on Twitter to comment on the size of his son's genitals. The tweet, which has since been deleted, read, "@justinbieber what do you feed that thing. #proud daddy."
Justin, who felt "super violated" by the breach of privacy, sat down with Zach Sang and the Gang for a radio interview to clear the air.
"I thought it was hilarious," the "What Do You Mean?" singer said during the interview, which aired on Monday. "It's such a dad thing to do."
Others were not as quick to find the humor in Jeremy's post. Even Bette Midler took a couple shots at Bieber senior, who has had a troubled relationship with his son and the law in the past.
"When I found out that people were hating on him for saying that, I was like, are you kidding me? What dad wouldn't be proud of that? It's not like he's saying it to an 11-year old. I'm 21 years old," Justin said.
The singer's new album, "Purpose," drops next month and has thrown fans into a tizzy, especially after an unreleased track with ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez leaked online. The song called "Strong"allegedly addresses the pop stars' very public relationship and breakup.
